San Jacinto Showdown

Deep in the heart of Texas, amidst the dense bayous, lies a story of courage, grit. The year was 1836 and the fate of freedom itself hung precariously in the balance. On April 21st , General Sam Houston led his ragtag army of Texian soldiers against the formidable Mexican forces under the command of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. The battle that ensued would become legendary, forever etching its name into the annals of American history: The Battle of San Jacinto.

The ground was rough, a tangle of tangled underbrush and muddy waters. Here, Houston's forces, outnumbered but brave, laid a trap for the arrogant Santa Anna.
